Study on death discussion and grief

Hello everyone. Please see my attached flyer, which provides details on a study I am completing. I am very interested in hearing about people' experiences with discussing death with a dying loved one and how they feel it affected their grief after losing the loved one. Being that this is a fairly vulnerable topic, I thought folks who utilize this service might be more inclined to share about their experiences if they happened to lose a significant loved one. Thank you so much for your time and please refer to the contact information on the flyer, should you have questions or be interested in participating. Flyer Text: Have you lost a loved one whose health you knew was declining? Are you open to sharing about your experiences before and after the loss? Participate in a study being done to explore the relationship between talking about death with a dying loved one and the feelings that followed the loss.If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or harm toward others, this study is not a good match for you. The researcher will make a donation to a local hospice program for your participation. Your participation will also help others understand the benefits and risks of open communication about death This study is being conducted by Kimberly Corp, MFT, and a doctoral student in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. You must be 18 to participate. Qualification involves having lost someone three or more months ago who did not suffer from moderate or severe cognitive impairment. If you would like to learn more about possibly participating in this study, please contact Kimberly Corp, MFT at 619-876-0528 or kimberlycorp42@gmail.com

Study taking place in San Diego, CA
Thank you folks for your interest. One important detail I forgot to mention is that the study will consist of in-person interviews that take place in San Diego, CA. If people live in the area, I would love to make time to meet with you. Thank you again, and I apologize for any inconvenience.
