About this Death Cafe
A worldwide, volunteer-based phenomenon, Death Cafe encourages people to share food, drink, and small-group conversation about death and dying in a comfortable setting free of agenda or ideology. Hosted by Death Cafe organizer Lizzy Miles. There is no fee to attend, however, for this event, due to the limited space, RSVP is required. Please click on link to RSVP
Please note: this is an open discussion group for guests over 18 years of age and not an educational program or grief support group. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
After the discussion hosted by Death Cafe organizer Lizzy Miles, participants will be invited to an optional tour of the current exhibition on view at the Wex, HERE: Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer, Maya Lin.
About Lizzy Miles
Lizzy is a passionate advocate for end of life issues and has presented her research at national and international conferences. Seven years ago, Lizzy hosted the first Death Cafe event in the United States in Westerville. Lizzy's work with the Death Cafe movement has been featured in numerous national newspaper and radio stories.
