About this Death Cafe

I'm running a Death Cafe to give people an opportunity to talk about death.  Are you scared of death?  Great, let's talk about that.  Are you intrigued by death?  Great, let's talk about that.  Do you have, what others might call, a "morbid" fascination with death?  Great, let's talk about that!  There is no agenda at a Death Cafe.  All voices are welcome.  There will likely be laughter and there might be tears.  But there will definitely be cake!  Come join us!

And huge thanks to Vino Aquino for hosting this event.  Please consider purchasing a beverage (they have non alocholic options as well) in thanks for hosting us.  AND you can bring in your own food.  You can even order Uber Eats directly to Death Cafe if you'd like.  :)

About Kelli Barr-Lyles

Kelli is a birth and death doula and a childbirth educator as well as a counselor (with a specialty in grief) and a gerontologist. But mostly she's a mom and wife and daughter who lost her mom in 2009 and her dad in 2015, just a couple of weeks before she facilitated her first Death Cafe. She feels that death tapped her on the shoulder and invited her into its world and believes one of the reasons she is on this earth is to get people talking about death.
