About Luisa Fernanda Ruiz Montiel

 

I started Death Cafe Mexico back in 2015. Since then, I´ve been opening several of them in Michoacan and Guanajuato state.

 

I studied a Master´s Degree in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and a PhD in Thanatology.

 

I belong to Uno en Voluntad Civil Association in which we help people through the process of grief.

 

I also work in Hola Hospice in Morelia, Mich., where we take care of people with chronic and terminal illnesses.
