Top tips for maximum benefit of a zoom death cafe:
Make yourself comfortable. Make this time your OWN! Turn off your mobile and grab yourself a cuppa! You deserve these two hours to connect to heart and mind and listen to others as they listen to you!
About Glynis German
Glynis German is a celebrant and has been facilitating the Mallorca Death Café since December 2015. Since March 2020 she offers Death Cafés online using the Zoom platform. She has various death café groups, an international group for encounters in English. She formed a group specifically for professionals working in the health system and funeral companies in Spain due to their experiences being somewhat different than most especially during the pandemic. She also launched the Spanish youth edition for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 and runs this with the input of the young people attending.
Based in Mallorca, she is also founder of the Giving Life to Death Festival, a week long, nationwide festival dedicated to dying, death and beyond! The first edition of the festival took place last November with a series of activities offered all over Spain and online via the festival's youtube channel. Glynis is also a volunteer at a local palliative ward and a member of that association, DIME.
