About this Death Cafe

Talking about death won’t kill you, so come along to a Death Cafe!

All are welcome at this discussion circle on death (and life).

It is very likely that this will be Galveston's first death cafe! 

We’ll be meeting in the private dining room at Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant. There will be free appetizers and drinks available.
You’re welcome to purchase something additional, but this is not required to attend the meeting.

About Stephanie Wolff

Stephanie has been facilitating Houston Death Cafe's monthly meetings since the group returned from hiatus at the start of 2022. Her background in death has been both personal, paid, and voluntary. Noteably, she has served as a listener on the Samaritans Suicide Helpline during her time living in Edinburgh, Scotland, and currently volunteers with a local hospice that serves those with HIV/AIDS. 

"I am deeply passionate about the death positivity movement, and creating spaces where people from all walks of life can gather to discuss death. Death belongs to everyone. And I can't wait to meet you at the next Death Cafe!"
