About this Death Cafe

Alexandria Death Cafe is an opportunity to gather with a group of friendly, earnest people from your community and talk about death and dying. It's a beautiful opportunity to explore your questions, fears, and thoughts about death and loss that are often not welcome in other social contexts. Death shows up in many ways in our lives, not just end of life, and you're also welcome at this Death Cafe to explore the thematic and metaphorical ways that death is showing up for you -- through other forms of loss, transition, and grief.

We'll meet in the southeast corner of the park. We will likely be sitting on the ground, so it's helpful to bring a blanket if you have one. Or bring a camping chair if sitting on the ground doesn't work for your body. Light snacks will be provided. Donations are accepted for this event.

RSVPs are helpful but not required -- feel free to bring a friend, partner, roommate, etc. Event will be cancelled in case of rain.
