About this Death Cafe
Death Cafes provide a safe, agenda-free place to discuss death and dying over some tasty treats. Not a grief support or therapy group, it is just a friendly and interested group of people discussing death, dying and end-of-life concerns. Space is limited. RSVPs are required to assure space. No late arrivals. Room can be cool, so dress accordingly.
About Mitsuo Tomita, M.D. and May Bull, RN
Mitsuo is a retired family practice physician and member of the San Diego County Coalition for Improving End-of-Life Care and the Hemlock Society of San Diego.
May Bull, RN, BSN, is a retired nurse educator, worked at San Diego Hospice for 17 years, and is a member of the San Diego County Coalition for Improving End-of-Life Care.
