About Valerie Myers & Monica Murphy
Valerie Myers is a dedicated member of Waters AME Church, and a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Her formal education includes a B.S. degree in Sociology from Towson University, and a Graduate Certificate in Thanatology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ms. Myers is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree program in Health Science with a concentration in Thanatology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement (CT) by the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). Ms. Myers is an active volunteer and a part time contractor at Roberta’s House Grief Support Center.
Monica Murphy is a native of Reisterstown, Maryland. Her formal education includes a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from Towson University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is a medical social worker.
