Death Cafe Press Clippings
Article about Highcliffe Death Café, writte by the host of the cafe. It appeared in The Mudeford Mag this month: "Talking about death? Isn't that a bit macabre?"
This article was well received and many people contacted me about the cafe, which was that night. 21 people attended and I had to turn people away because I didn't have space. I know have a contact list of 50= people who are interested in the next one!
A great supplementary letter was written by a fellow Death Cafe facilitator giving the Death Café information, which the reporter didn’t include. It can be found at: http://www.lfpress.com/2015/10/06/death-cafe-addresses-taboo-topic
Death Cafe poster too 'dark and gloomy' for library notice board
Posted by Janwil on Jan. 6, 2016, 7:39 a.m.
The Ham and Hi gave a balanced view, although they described the cafe as a 'bereavement group'; it is ridiculous that, after this has run without problems for nearly 2 years, library management have censored our poster.
I am looking for an alternative venue so hopefully the death cafe will continue.

Posted by CW on July 16, 2015, 3:57 p.m.
Madi Schulz, writer for the "Daily Kansan" Kansas University student newspaper attended our June, Lawrence Death Cafe for the purpose of writing an article for the paper. We appreciated her support and enjoyed the article very much. We would like to add that our Lawrence Death Cafe can be found on Facebook, is open to all and we meet once a month at the Lawrence Public Library. The new library in Lawrence is gorgeous and the perfect place to meet! A big thank you to Madi Schulz for sharing our Lawrence Death Cafe with students at the University of Kansas!
