About Clare Davies:
I'm a Death Cafe hostess. Writer. Reader. Eater of cakes, and a winter sea swimmer (yes, I like wiping snow off my goggles as I'm crawling!)
I'm writing a PhD in Creative Writing and making a radio documentary.
I live by the sea.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
To stop pussy footing around death. Invite it into my world, and say hi.
Also, I'm interested in mourning rituals, issues and laws around assisted suicide, the relationship between death and creativity and how we come to terms with personal loss.
What would you like your legacy to be?
Love. And a few choice words.
Thoughts for sharing:
"I don't want to die without any scars."
