What brings you to Death Cafe?

I’m drawn to hosting Death Cafes because I deeply believe in creating spaces for authentic, vulnerable conversations. Death, while often feared or avoided, is a transformative and inevitable part of life, and I want to provide an environment where people can openly explore their thoughts and feelings around it. As someone passionate about self-actualization and holistic healing, I recognize the importance of addressing the emotions and uncertainties that surround death.

Through the lens of mindfulness, trauma-informed healing, and community building, I’ve learned how vital it is to have safe spaces for people to confront life’s most challenging experiences. Hosting Death Cafes allows me to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space for individuals to connect, share, and ultimately find healing through open dialogue and shared reflection.

What would you like your legacy to be?

Mutual Compassion.

Thoughts for sharing:

"Death smiles at us all, but all a man can do is smile back." Marcus Aurelius

"We do not fear death because we think of it as an end, but because we imagine that it is something that happens to us. If we think of it simply as a natural part of life, then it loses its power to frighten us." Seneca

"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how." Friedrich Nietzsche

"You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think." Marcus Aurelius
