Our Death Cafe event held over 15 people. Our room was cozy and everyone shared thoughts, experiences, and beliefs. We had plenty of treats and refreshments. I also put on display some resources (provided by the National Institutes of Health) and library books for attendees to explore if desired.
A few attendees told me how meaningful it was for them. That's what this is all about!
We plan to hold a Death Cafe in the same location quarterly, so the next one is in July and then again in October. We have a lot of 'snowbirds' who leave hot and humid Florida in the summer so there ...
